So I am in a bit of a situation here. It's nothing I can't get myself out of with a trip to Wal-Mart or a random shopping spree, but October twenty-second will be my one year anniversary with my boyfriend, Chris. We are very close, rarely fight, and things with him are going perfectly. We plan on going to Sake, this Japanese restaurant we went to on our first date. We weren't dating at the time of our first date, but that night was the first night I held his hand and danced with him. He took me back to Sake for Valentine's day, and it's pretty much become our tradition. He has been paying for our meals for the last year, because up until now I didn't have a job, so I plan on footing the bill at Sake this time around, and I have no problem with that. The problem arose tonight, when Chris told me he didn't know what to get me for our anniversary. I was under the impression that we weren't exchanging gifts. We never talked about it, so I guess it was a bad assumption to make. I only made it because he hasn't been working during the week (he's a commute college student), and being a waiter it's hard to make much money working one day a week. It's 1:32 A.M. going into Monday morning. I work second shift, so I will have to go out early shopping. The only thing is, I have no clue what to buy him. I have three days to figure something out, and because I've just started working I have quite a low budget for gifts if I plan on paying for our meal. He is into computers, cars, video games, and music, but a lot of that stuff is too expensive for me right now, and when it comes to games, if he really wanted to play it he already has it. He's not into sports, jewelery, or being around large crowds. If somebody could make a suggestion, it would make me very happy, and quite possibly make the next three days less stressful for me. Thanks!
